Solhaus Media is a boutique photo & video agency working to create powerful visual storytelling for small business owners and organizations. Founder Bernadette also has a program in which she coaches other photographers on how to create video and implement it as a service into their photography business.
Challenge
Bernadette wanted a refresh of her sales page selling her Pics to Flicks program, a course for photographers wanting to learn video. She felt like the copy on her previous page was outdated and trying too hard to sell photographers on why they need video. She wanted an updated page that spoke to photographers who already knew they needed to learn video and focused on how her program would help them overcome the obstacles standing in their way to getting started with video.
Solution
I created a refreshed page of copy that focused on the photographer landing on the page, knowing they need video. I added a new section on their pain points so they'd relate to Bernadette and see how this program could help them overcome their roadblocks to video. I also tweaked the copy to speak specifically to brand photographers in order to niche down and be more precise with our messaging to them and why this is the program for them. I updated the syllabus section too make it more digestible and interesting and I revamped the 'About' section of the page to better highlight how she can serve her students.
